June 2005 All excavation work has now been completed, after more than twelve years of dedicated digging. Post excavation work (including preparation of the monograph) is already well underway. There is still much exciting information from the past year or so due to be added to this Web site, as well as some of the results of all the post-ex analysis. An independent video/DVD was released mid-2005 that tells the story of the River Frome. It is Part 2 of Dorset - Along the Frome - Dorchester to Poole Harbour, presented and narrated by Bonny Sartin and produced by Classic Media Facilities.
Bestwall Quarry's archaeology has also been filmed for a slot in a Bristol based arts programme, 24/7.
